Israeli successes in the Lydda and Ramleh areas are influencing Arab morale considerably. Palestinian Arabs, both in Palestine and abroad, are completely downhearted, and Count Bernadotte's plebiscite - if carried out - might produce most surprising results among Palestinian Arabs.
