UN Praises Gaza Hospital The work of the staff of the Baptist hospital, Gaza, has re- ceived a tribute in a special report of the director of UNR- WA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) for Palestine refugees in the Near East.

The report presented in order to inform the General Assembly of the United Nations of the emergency actions taken by UNRWA as a result of the re- cent hostilities in the Near East covers the period from Novem- ber 1 to mid-December 1956.

The following paragraph of the report deals with the Bap- tist hospital: "The re-establish- ment of UNRWA's basic relief services during the emergency was made possible only through the devoted work of many in- dividuals, members of the Agen- cy's international and local (mostly refugee) staff. Their work deserves the highest praise.
