“CAIRO, Egypt, Feb. 26 (AP)—At least five persons were killed today when about 500 Palestinian Arab soldiers clamoring for arms attacked an Egyptian police station in the suburb of Maadi. Police immediately clamped a tight lid of secrecy on the incident, and refused even to admit any trouble had occurred. Eyewitnesses said, however, that at least five were killed, several wounded and more than 20 arrested when the Palestinians attempted to storm the police station from two directions to get arms and ammunition.”
