NEW TRIAL IS ORDERED IN SLAYING OF ARABS Death Sentence of Urphali Is Set 'Aside on Appeal in Palestine Riot Case. By JOSEPH M. LEVY. Wireless to THE NEw YORE TIMES. JERUSALEM, Jar. 25.-Today the death sentence was set aside and g new trial ordered in the appeal of the case of Joseph Mizrachi Urphali, a Jew charged with murdering two Arabs in the riots at Jaffa on Aug. 25.

The appeal court granted a new trial so members of the air force on duty at the scene or the alleged kill- ings and Urphali's four Arab neigh- bors might testify that the shooting was done by policemen. Urphali is accused of killing two Arabs by firing from the balcony of his house near the boundary of Jaffa and.
