8 FARMINGTON - University of Maine at Farmington assistant profes- sor of English and Women's Studies, Lee Sharkey will offer a presentation on her experience at the August 2005 Women in Black International Conference in Jerusalem - a conference which drew 750 women peace activists from 44 countries to discuss issues they confront, propose strategies of resistance, and strengthen international feminist alliances.
The presentation - a narrative, through journal entries, audio recordings, photos, and poems - will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8, on the UMF campus in Ricker Hall. The Women in Black International Conference focused on the work Palestinia
