Arabs Decry Zionism

Transcribed from the clipping
“Charging that the Zionist campaign for continued immigration into Palestine was ‘purely imperialistic and political in character,’ the Institute of Arab American Affairs, in a message to President Truman, declared yesterday that the only solution to the Jewish problem would be to enforce democracy in the countries of Europe.”
Context added by this archive
Khalil Totah, executive director, writing from New York. An Arab-American organization addressing an American president in an American paper — and the headline gives it the verb decry, which is what papers give to people whose argument they are not going to print at length.
