“Arabs Fleeing Haifa Under Attack by Jews. Arabs with their belongings wait on the waterfront at Haifa, Palestine, for boats to take them across the bay to the all-Arab city of Acre. Thousands of Arab men, women and children fled from Haifa as Jewish forces seized major portions of that important seaport.”
