Transcribed from the clipping

“It is virtually certain that a new Arab High Committee for Palestine will be formed in Syria and will conduct its political activity from there… the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin el Husseini, is still secluded in the Mosque of Omar to forestall possible Government efforts to seize him for deportation.”

Context added by this archive

Ten months into the Arab revolt, with the High Committee outlawed and disbanded. The piece names five Palestinian political figures — Izzet Darwaza, Auni Bey Abdulhadi, Alfred Roch, Jamal el Husseini, Ragheb Bey Nashashibi — which is more named Palestinians than most of the 1930s clippings here manage between them.
