250 PALESTINIANS FREED Prisoners Had Been Taken When i Refugees' Ship Was Beached Special to i'HE NEW XORK TIMES. JERUSALEM, March 25-After spending nearly two weeks in Cy- prus detention camps, 250 Pales- tinian citizens returned to Haifa today aboard a British vessel.

They had been shipped off as unauthor- ized refugee arrivals when police rounded up passengers on the Susannah, beached off Isdud. The prisoners had left Jewish villages to assist the refugees. When captured they refused to re- veal their identity. About 200 more remain in Cyprus. Presumably a number of refu- gees escaped while Palestinians took their places in the police raid.
