British Army Store In Palestine Blasted By Jewish Terrorists

“JERUSALEM, Sunday, Mar. 16.—A group of persons identified officially as Jewish terrorists blew up a British army Naafi (post exchange) store near Hadera early today. A police source said he believed there were no casualties, but added that the building still was ablaze an hour after the blast… Meanwhile, the cordon of troops around Tel Aviv’s martial law zone was reinforced last night and reports from that all-Jewish city indicated the British army was preparing to meet an underground Jewish threat to crack the city’s defense. Posters were distributed Friday day by Irgun Zvei Leumi, Jewish resistance organization, declaring ‘we will break through the ghetto.’… Irgun and the Stern gang distributed ‘press releases’ in Jerusalem in which the Stern gang claimed ‘responsibility’ for three recent attacks on Palestine trains and Irgun denied reports that 12 of its members were among 78 ‘known terrorists’ the British announced had been arrested.”
