“JERUSALEM, May 26 (Jewish Telegraphic Agency). — The Palestine Arab executive has addressed a memorandum to the Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, protesting against the Zionist policy in Palestine. The text of the memorandum was made public here, although usually this is not done before the document has actually been received by the League authorities. The memorandum complains that the British government has not fulfilled the decisions taken by the Permanent Mandates Commission, that the Arab language is being ignored, that there are too many British officials in Palestine, that the Arab population has not been consulted concerning the Palestine government’s £4,500,000 loan and that there are no popular executive bodies functioning in the country.”

The same petition as CP-1927-004, from a different agency, one day later. Where the Globe-Democrat headline says who is protesting, this one says only Hits Zionist Policy. Directly beneath the last line, in the same column, the paper prints its next item in full: “Kissing of dogs is condemned by a European medical specialist, who says no dog is clean in the mouth.”
