“JERUSALEM, Sept. 7 (Passed by Israeli censor) (AP) — Jewish ex-terrorists who made Palestine too hot for British rule are confidently planning a new campaign. Their objective is Jewish control of King Abdullah’s Trans-Jordan… The Arab kingdom they covet is three times larger than Palestine, which it borders on the Jordan River.
Its normal population is 400,000 Moslems and Christians. Now it also has 100,000 Palestinian refugees. The only Jews in Trans-Jordan are 600 war prisoners…”
