Scene of Devastation, Horror and Minutiae At Jenin Refugee Camp

Transcribed from the clipping
“Two bodies were seen here today, both found on the second stories of bullet-riddled and scorched houses, both charred beyond recognition. One was a male, just over five feet tall. Part of a sneaker remained on the right foot. The left foot and hand were cinders.”
Context added by this archive
The minutiae of the headline are a sneaker and a hand. Jenin, four days after the army entered, with the paper still unable to say how many civilians were killed.
