“JERUSALEM — A Palestinian gunman killed seven people outside a synagogue in East Jerusalem on Friday night… The attack took place in Neve Yaakov, an Israeli settlement in the northern tip of East Jerusalem… It came a day after Israeli forces killed 10 Palestinians during a raid on the Jenin refugee camp, the deadliest single Israeli operation in the West Bank in years… More than 170 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in 2022, the highest toll since 2004…”
