“JENIN, West Bank — Israeli troops and Palestinian militants fought for hours in the occupied West Bank on Monday in some of the fiercest fighting in years, with Israel deploying helicopter gunships for the first time in two decades… At least five Palestinians were killed and 91 wounded, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. Eight Israeli soldiers were wounded… The Health Ministry identified the dead as Khaled Asasa, 21, Qassam Abu Sariya, 29, Qais Jabarin, 21, Ahmed Daraghmeh, 19, and 15-year-old Ahmed Saqr… Wissam Bakar, director of Jenin Government Hospital, said the wounded included… Hazem Nasser, a Palestinian cameraman, was wounded…”
