Orange and Grapefruit Growers Report Record Exports. Speclal Correspondence, THE NEW YORK TIMEs. JERUSALEM, Feb. 10.—The ship- ment to overseas markets of 2,000,- 000 cases of Palestine oranges and grapefruit is considered a record here.

These shipments represent 500,000 cases more than last year, for the period ending about the middle of January, which had been the peak for previous seasons. It is expected that over 3,000,000 cases will leave the country by the end of the season in April.

Advices from Canada indicate that an important market is being developed there, likely to absorb a large quantity of Holy Land fruit in the years to come. Local grow- ers have met recently to consider submission of further representa- tions to the British Government in protest against the high ad valorem Palestinian citrus fruits duties on in the United Kingdom.
