“Fanimeh Ali Mustapha Zeiden, 12, comforts her 2-year-old sister Khadra in a hospital at Jerusalem, where both are being treated for wounds suffered when Jewish extremists attacked their Arab village of Deir Yasin, near the Holy City. ‘They killed my mother and my grandparents and some of my cousins,’ Fanimeh said.”

A West Virginia weekly runs her photograph across most of the page, with her words in the headline. Two papers, two days apart, spell her name differently: the Evening Star sets Fahimeh Ali Moustafa Zeidan, this one Fanimeh Ali Mustapha Zeiden. Both are transcribed as printed.
