“HAIFA, Palestine, April 25 (AP)—Covoys of British army trucks took hundreds of Arab refugees to the all-Arab town of Acre today. They cleared the port area of homeless persons who sought refuge there during the Jewish seizure of the main parts of Haifa. Throughout the day, Army landing craft and Arab small boats also moved back and forth across the bay from Haifa to Acre loaded with refugees and household belongings.”
