The secretary of the NAACP, back from five weeks as a consultant to the United States delegation in Paris, filing Palestine in a list with genocide and colonies. A Black newspaper in Alabama, October 1948. Dorothy Thompson would cite him fifteen months later as a friendly witness on the cost of criticism.
