Kennett Love, in the village, for the New York Times. Read the dateline and the headline together: the village is Nahhalin and the country is
Jordan. Nahhalin is a Palestinian village that had been under Jordanian administration for five years. In the headline it is simply Jordan, and the nine dead have no nationality at all.
