“JERUSALEM — Three more Palestinians were killed in the West Bank and Gaza. In the West Bank, an Israeli army spokesman said, one Arab was fatally shot after he stabbed and wounded an Israeli border policeman, and a second Palestinian was killed by Jewish settlers whose car had been stoned.
The spokesman said the third Arab was killed in a demonstration in the Gaza town of Khan Yunis.”

Sixty-three words in which three people are killed. The word in the headline is more, which is the whole finding: by March 1982 the deaths are a running quantity the paper expects its readers to be keeping. Nobody is named, and the only source for all three is an Israeli army spokesman.
