Death and Revenge: Palestinian vs. Palestinian
James Bennet

Transcribed from the clipping
“Yousef Akel was killed by other Palestinians a year ago. When his death was avenged on Monday, his mother, Aysha, and his niece, Islam, 7, felt they could finally grieve in the family’s house in Gaza.”
Context added by this archive
Three Palestinians named in one photograph caption, including a seven-year-old. The killing is Palestinian and so is the revenge, and the paper gives the family more space than most clippings here give the dead.
