“JERUSALEM — Palestinians braced Saturday for Israeli reprisals after a gunman killed seven people outside a synagogue… ‘Every day there’s more and more fear, more tension,’ said Eyad Shaher, 45, a construction worker from Bethlehem who crosses into Israel for work. ‘Somehow I’m living with this idea that at any moment I could be shot dead.’… Ibrahim Salameh, 21, said he had stopped going out at night… Israel’s security cabinet was expected to approve punitive measures, including sealing the attacker’s family home…”
