HER WORK COMMENCED. MErs. Dr. Bliden's Work for Girls in Safed, Palestine, Complimented. Mrs. Dr. Bliden, who is here in the in- terest of her girls' school in Safed, Pales- time, has received the following indorse- ments: "Paris, Dee, 10. 1S91.—During my recent voyage in Palestine I had occasion to visit the school of Israelite girls, founded by Mrs. Bliden, at Sated.
I have examined the young students of all the classes and 1 have found them in a remarkable way of as far as concerns their know!- edge of languages and elementary sciences. as in needlework and other occupations of The bearing of the children and the sanitary state of the school Were most satisfactory, thanks to the really motherly Mrs.
