Martial Law Proclaimed at Jaffa TWENTY KILLED AND ONE-HUN- DRED AND FIFTY WOUNDED. (Jewish Telegraphic Agency) dispatches London-Latest from Jerusalem state that an official an- nouncement gives the casualties in the Jaffa riot last Sunday as 20 killed and 150 wounded.
The disturbance was quelled by the arrival of British troops from Ludd but prior to the ap pearance of the military the Arabs are reported to have looted a number of Jewish stores. The correspondent of the "Daily Mail" reports that the riot was the result of the interference by Arabs with a May procession on the part of Jaffa workers.
The corres- pondent of the "Times" on the other hand declares that the cause of the riot is still a matter of obscurity. At present all is said to be quiet in Jaffa. In local Zionist cireles great indig. nation is felt at this new attack of the Arabs upon the Jews. It is the general opinion l
