“The Palestinian Arabs are opposed to the treaty between England and the Hedjas, according to Muza Kazim Pasha, the President of the Moslem-Christian Association of Palestine, who expressed this view in a cable to King Hussein of the Hedjas, protesting against the signing of the treaty. The President of the Moslem-Christian Association, in his cable, states that the Palestinian Arabs consider the treaty, which omits the independence of Palestine, as a betrayal of the interests of the Palestinian Arabs.”
