This conflict means that the Arab has been swindled in explanations, writes Falastin in the English Supplement, a Jaffa Arab paper to-day which proceeds to say that insult has been added to injury by not informing Arab leaders simultaneously with Dr.

Weizmann about the declaration, although the Arabs are as much concerned with amplifications or removals of misunderstandings as the Jews. The paper ends with the following bold statement.

“If there is any change in the white paper which is harmful to the Arabs then the latter must systematically range the whole east against a policy which will ruin the Arabs as a whole and not only Palestine.

The issues becomes clearer daily that Zionism seems to Arabs and Moslems the spearpoint of imperialism and foreign culture, but the east refuses to be Europeanized under the false plea that civilization intends to shape its own destiny.”
