“The attitude of some of the Petach Tikvah and Ness Ziona colonists in connection with the recent orange-picking disturbances is extremely unfortunate. These unsavory incidents have recurred annually and have always elicited disapproval.”

A Jewish paper criticising Jewish colonists, in its own voice, over who was allowed to pick the oranges. Annually, it says, which means this was the normal state of things and not an incident.
