How Abiding Are Palestinian Jews?

“In these days of turmoil in Palestine when careless press and radio commentators, as well as government officials who should know better, picture Palestinian Jews as law-breakers and gangsters, it is constructive to look at the record of crime. The Court of Criminal Assize tried 49 cases of murder involving 99 persons during the whole of last year… Of this number, 20 were Moslems and three were Christians. No Jews… These figures become all the more significant when it is recalled that the Jews in Palestine have come from practically every country in the world and have brought with them different standards and viewpoints.”
