“Since 1940 Palestine’s Jewish population has jumped from 163,000 to 630,000, immigration and natural increases being about equal. These figures are about 12 times that of 1919. The Arab population is approximately 1,110,000.”

Fifty-one words in a Black newspaper in Nebraska, five months before partition. No adjectives and no argument — the two populations, side by side, with the Arab majority stated last and plainly.
