Palestinian refugees have received from the American Red Cross typhus vaccine sufficient for the innoculation of 450,000 persons. The UN disaster relief commission made the request as a preventive measure for while there has been little typhus among the refugees as yet, the disease crops out under abnormal living conditions and now can be fully controlled with adequate vaccine.
