Faisal Husseini, 48, “the leading spokesman in the West Bank for the mainline Fatah movement” was given “up to six months’ administrative detention.” Hanna Siniora, editor of the Palestinian newspaper Al Fajr: “The road to peace is being obstructed by detentions, human rights obstructions… (Husseini) should be encouraged instead of jailed.”
