“More than a thousand Palestinians have been killed so far in this latest grueling war between ancient peoples on the lands of Palestine usurped for the Jewish state 50-some years ago.” The column quotes Abdul Karim, father of a large Islamic family, most of whom were killed in a recent bombing, who buried his dead and said: “I am against violence and killing from both sides. The Israeli children are precious for me. Our children are precious for us.”
