“HUWARA, West Bank — Hundreds of Israeli settlers rampaged through Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank on Sunday night, torching cars and homes and killing a man, hours after a Palestinian gunman killed two Israelis… ‘I’m a migrant now,’ said Ziad Dmeidi, 48, whose house was set on fire with his six children inside… Ammar Demandi, a gold trader, watched his shop burn… Sameh al-Aqtash, 37, a father of five, was shot dead in the nearby village of Za’tara. ‘One bullet ended his life and left behind five orphans,’ said his nephew, Fadi al-Aqtash… Ghassan Douglas, a Palestinian official who monitors settlement activity, said the army stood by… The two Israelis killed were brothers, Hillel Menachem Yaniv, 22, and Yagel Yaakov Yaniv, 20…”

Everyone in this story has a name: the brothers who were shot, the man shot in Za’tara, the gold trader, the father whose house burned with his children in it. The reporting credit at the bottom names two Palestinian journalists, Fatima Abdul Karim and Sufian Taha.
