Buying Up the Land

“BUYING UP THE LAND.<br>Zionism, however, commands unlimited wealth. There is hardly an Arab in Palestine who could turn down a Jewish immigrant’s offer of $500 for a piece of land worth $100.
Only this week Zionist agents offered $15,000,000 cash for a piece of land on the Jerusalem-Bethlehem road, worth at the most $10,000,000, belonging to the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre of the Greek Church.
Unless Zionism is checked at once, it will succeed in the next few years in buying up all the good land in Palestine and in peopling it with Jewish colonies, leaving the 750,000 present inhabitants of Palestine as hirelings and strangers in their own homeland.<br>None knows this better than the Palestinians themselves.”
