Transcribed from the clipping

“JERUSALEM (Delayed) — (AP) Rigid censorship of all news and pictures has been imposed by Haganah throughout Jewish-held Palestine. Photographers have been threatened with arrest if they try to bring cameras into Jewish Jerusalem. Censorship of news stories is being handled by the newly formed ‘Haganah military censorship office.’”

Context added by this archive

Two weeks later and the same news agency, and now the headline picks the other side. Three words, and the censor is Jewish. The body is the Jerusalem dispatch about Haganah’s new military censorship office and photographers threatened with arrest.
