“The Arab News Agency said last night nine persons were killed when Jews blew up the house of the mayor of the Arab village of Sharafat near the truce line south of Jerusalem.”

Context added by this archive

Sharafat, 7 February 1951, reaching Duluth the next day. Nine dead, and the only thing that identifies them is the Arab village of Sharafat. The dispatch is from Cairo, filed by the Arab News Agency, which is why it exists at all: no American correspondent was there.
