Nine Israeli Arabs Accused of Espionage for Jordanians

TEL AVIV, Nov. 10—Nine Israeli Arabs from a village near the Jordanian border were held today as suspected members of a ring spying for Jordan. Judge Shlomo Kassan of the Haifa district court ordered their detention until their case comes up, probably in two months. The ring was said to have been based in a village in the Irron Valley.

All nine were charged with conspiracy to collect and deliver information about Israel and military installations to the Jordanian intelligence service.
