Transcribed from a scan of the printed page, and THE EXCERPT IS ONE SENTENCE BECAUSE THAT IS ALL I CAN READ WITH CONFIDENCE. The scan is 860 by 433 pixels for a full broadsheet page, which puts the body type at roughly four pixels high; the headline, the folio and the byline enlarge cleanly, the body does not. The quoted opening sentence was read consistently at twenty, twenty-two and twenty-six times page scale. Everything after it degrades: the sentence continues '… We shall continue to [think?] on until the day we return to our homes,” said Abdul-Nasser [one unread element] Amad with deep emo[tion]', and I will not print a Palestinian refugee's name, or his second sentence, from an image that will not resolve them. THE DATE AND PAGE ARE FIXED FROM THE PAGE: the folio reads 'Page 18— The Daily Times, N. Phila., [Pa.], Tues., July 11, ‘67', and 11 July 1967 was a Tuesday. THE PUBLICATION IS A SEPARATE PROBLEM AND IS NOT SETTLED. The folio's masthead reads 'The Daily Times' with a Philadelphia-area city, while all three of the archive's existing 'The Daily Times' records carry the city Mamaroneck, New York. On the evidence of this folio these are two different papers sharing a name, and filing this record under the existing name would silently merge a Pennsylvania paper into a New York one.
