2 Arab Schoolgirls Wounded By an Israeli Driver in Gaza Special to The New York Times JERUSALEM, Nov. 11 — An Israeli driver shot and wounded two Palestin- ian schoolgirls in Gaza City today when he fired a pistol to ward off protesters who surrounded his car and showered it with rocks, an army spokesman said.
A 17-year-old high school girl was killed in similar circumstances Tues- day in Deir el-Balah, a refugee area in the Israeli-occupied Gaza Strip. The police arrested four Israelis from a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip in connection with her death.
One of the 14-year-old girls wounded today was in good condition; the other was flown by military helicopter to a hospital in Ashkelon, where she was re- ported in critical condition. The police are investigating today's incident, an army spokesman said.! "Stones were thrown toward his car, and the driver fired some shots in the air
