“Last week, his government press office urged journalists to refer to a state of Palestine, instead of the Palestinian Authority… ‘You can’t create a state by rhetoric and with labels and names,’ she told reporters.”

The same Associated Press story as the printing in The Globe, the same morning. The Globe ran the wire’s own summary as its headline. This paper kept that line as a second line and put a quotation from Romeo and Juliet above it — answering the question before the reader reaches the story, and landing on the same position the State Department takes inside the article. This printing also carries the byline, which includes a Palestinian reporter.
