“Israeli armor and troops smashed across Egyptian lines last night and blew up an Egyptian military headquarters at Khan Yunis, in the Gaza strip.”

Paducah, Kentucky. Maria marked this one to note that Gaza was then ruled by Egypt. That is exactly the point: the administration was Egyptian, the people were Palestinian, and only the first of those facts survives into the headline.
