A woman in a white headscarf holding a child, photographed in Jabalia in 1960 and printed in Louisville. The caption gives the camp and the territory and no names. The headline calls them forgotten people, which is a paper conceding that its own readers had not been told.
Jabalia appears in this archive across sixty years: here, in 1987 with one army base inside its boundaries (CP-1987-005), in 2003 as a boy holding a bomb casing in the rubble of his house (CP-2003-001), and in 2014 as a girl taking cover against a wall (CP-2014-011).
