Ellen Segal, 40, a nurse from Washington, testified before the Israeli commission investigating the massacres because she "can't sleep at night." "I feel it was my duty to say what I heard and what I saw... I can't sleep at night unless I tell people what happened there and what perhaps Israel's involvement was, or was not, in this." She testified alongside Dr. Paul Morris, a Briton, and the surgeon Suee Chai-ang.
