“Now that ‘mild physical pressure’ has been legitimized… It is a terrible wall of secrecy. You are helpless as a lawyer, you don’t know what you are defending against.”

The fullest of the four printings, and the only one in the archive that carries the Landau Commission by name. It records two things no other clipping here does: that the commission found Shin Bet agents had perjured themselves, and that its findings legitimized what the paper calls mild physical pressure. The lawyer quoted is Felicia Langer.
Printed beside an after-Christmas advertisement offering sixty per cent off sterling silver.
