“The soldiers killed at least 43 Arabs. Two officers involved in the incident received lengthy prison terms from a military court, but their sentences were reduced by a military high…

Within three years they were released. The Kafr Kassem incident has become a symbol for Palestinians and Israeli Arabs who believe they cannot receive equal justice and protection.”
