“JERUSALEM (AP) — An Israeli couple accused the army Tuesday of opening fire without warning on two Palestinians who were writing slogans on a wall in the occupied West Bank.
David Elimelech and his wife Aviva, an Israeli Jewish couple, told Israel radio they saw soldiers shoot the two masked Palestinians in the back as they were spray painting slogans on a wall in Dura, 22 miles south of Jerusalem. ‘They didn’t even tell them to raise their hands,’ said Mrs. Elimelech.
She said she and her husband saw the Monday night incident from the house of an Arab friend they were visiting.”
