Marchers on the Mall carry a sign reading STOP U.S. FUNDING OF GENOCIDE. Tami Anaya, who lost her brother on Flight 93 seven months earlier, sat at the edge of the protest: “What happened to my brother woke me up, and I’m not comfortable being passively patriotic. I just can’t support terrorizing another human being.”
