Under “Increased criticism of Israel justified”: “Robert Klein (April 13 ‘In Reply’) is ‘troubled’ by Khalil Amiri’s reasoned presentation (April 6 ‘Community View’) of the Palestinian cause. More troubling to him should be the erosion of good will toward Israel that has long existed in America.”
Under “Israel must defend its population”: “It was the Arabs who rejected this plan and every other plan since. Israel’s territorial expansion since 1948 has come at a great price due to the invasion or threats of invasion by its Arab neighbors.”
Under “Zionist propaganda dehumanizes Arabs”: “I was shocked that The Journal News published Ann Ganeles’ hate-filled April 13 letter. She personally attacked Maher Al-Jamal, a fellow Westchester resident, who simply expressed his wish to educate his children on their ancestral language and customs by sending them to live in his native Jordan.”
