“GAZA CITY — Thousands of Palestinians took to the streets across the Gaza Strip on Sunday in a rare show of public anger against the territory’s Hamas rulers, protesting chronic power cuts and dire living conditions… Hamas security forces dispersed some of the protests… Gaza receives only a fraction of the electricity it needs… Israel and Egypt have maintained a blockade on the territory since Hamas seized power in 2007…”
